Animal should be brought to our facility on the day it is scheduled to be slaughtered. Customer contact information will be required at the time the animal is dropped off. If you would like to have a beef butchered but do not have a source, please contact us and we will gladly provide you with a list of suppliers within the area that you can call.
Once slaughtered, one of our staff will call you with the hanging weight and gather information regarding your preferences for cuts.
The beef will be hung for approximately 10-14 days. Once it has aged appropriately, it will be cut as requested. Upon completion of cutting and wrapping, one of our staff will call you with the final cost and amount of meat. It takes 2-3 days for the product to be completely frozen. Payment is required at the time of pick-up and must be either cash, card, or check. A convenience surcharge of 3% will be added if paying by credit card.
Note: Depending on the age, breed, gender and overall health of your animal, you can expect your beef to dress approximately 60% of the live weight. After de-boning and trimming, you should receive approximately 50% of the hanging weight in consumable product. Please keep in mind, these are rough estimations and are not the same for every beef.
No charge for the first five days after processing is complete.
